Information We Collect
- Account information you provide when you sign up: name, email address, mobile phone number, and (for dealers) business or organization name and address.
- Listing information dealers upload: RV details, photos, pricing, and inventory data.
- Activity information: listings you view, swipe, or express interest in, and messages exchanged with dealers through our platform.
- Consent records: a timestamped log of when you opted in to SMS messaging, with associated IP address and user agent.
- Technical information: browser type, device, IP address, and basic usage analytics.
How We Use Your Information
- To create and operate your account.
- To send one-time SMS verification codes to confirm your phone number.
- To send transactional SMS alerts about referrals, favorites, and conversations to dealers who have separately enrolled as a dealer, when a buyer expresses interest in, favorites, or messages about one of their listings, including the buyer's contact information.
- To deliver in-app messages between buyers and dealers.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Information Sharing
Text messaging privacy: SMS opt-in data and consent records are not shared with any third parties or affiliates. They are never sold, rented, transferred, exchanged, or disclosed to any third party for any purpose.
We do not sell your personal information. Other, non-SMS account information may be disclosed only in these limited circumstances:
- With dealers you express interest in: when you "swipe right" on a listing, we provide the contact details you chose to submit so the dealer can respond about that RV. This never includes SMS opt-in data or consent records.
- Service providers who operate our infrastructure, such as hosting and payment processing. These providers are contractually limited to using non-SMS data only to perform services for us.
- Legal compliance: when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of RVSWIPE, our users, or the public.
SMS Messaging Program — Consent, Opt-Out, and Help
RVSWIPE operates an SMS messaging program for one-time verification codes and transactional alerts about referrals. Participation is strictly opt-in.
- Opt-in: You must affirmatively check a consent checkbox at signup. The checkbox is unchecked by default, and opting in is not required to create an account; users who do not check it simply will not receive text messages. It reads: "I agree to receive SMS from RVSWIPE at the phone number provided: a one-time verification code, and (if I separately enroll as a dealer) transactional alerts about referrals, favorites, and conversations. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help." No SMS messages are sent to any number that has not affirmatively opted in.
- Opt-out: Reply STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any RVSWIPE SMS message at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further messages. Re-subscribe by replying START.
- Help: Reply HELP or INFO to any RVSWIPE SMS message for support contact information, or email admin@rvswipe.com.
- Message frequency: An opted-in buyer may explicitly request one one-time verification code after signup; it is not sent automatically. Dealer alerts about referrals, favorites, and conversations are sent only to separately enrolled dealers when a buyer expresses interest in, favorites, or messages about one of the dealer's listings. Frequency varies by user activity.
- Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Data Security & Retention
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls. We retain account information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by emailing the address below. Consent records and opt-out records are retained for a minimum of four (4) years to comply with telecommunications regulations.

- SMS opt-out: reply STOP to any RVSWIPE SMS message. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages.
- SMS help: reply HELP to any RVSWIPE SMS message for support information.
- Account deletion: email us at the address below to request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Access and correction: you can update most account information directly in the app.
